Beta Upsilon Chi was formed at Yale University in the spring of 2012 after 13 Yale men saw the need for a positive and Godly alternative to the Greek life at Yale. Founding President Victor Hicks initially brought the men together. It was the vision of the founding fathers to have a fraternity of committed Christian men based on the unique brotherhood that a Christian atmosphere affords. These men hoped that their efforts would be able to shine a light on the Greek life at Yale University, all the while, glorifying Our Lord Jesus Christ.
