Originally from Russellville, Arkansas, Ryan is a three-time graduate of the University of Arkansas with degrees in Marketing, Management, and Higher Education. During his undergraduate, he served in multiple roles across campus in student government, athletic booster club, and student alumni association. His most rewarding experience, though, was serving as a Founding Father of the Xi Chapter of Beta Upsilon Chi where he served as Vice President and Pledge Captain. After graduation, Ryan worked for the Honors College, Sam M. Walton College of Business, and the Arkansas Alumni Association. Ryan then moved to Central Arkansas to lead alumni outreach efforts for the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Most recently, he has stepped into the role of Director of Development for the Arkansas Prostate Cancer Foundation. Ryan currently attends Fellowship Bible Church where he is part of the choir and a leads 7th grade small group. A wannabe avid runner and reader, he lives in Little Rock with his two Australian shepherd puppies.
Nick is an alumnus of BYX from the University of Oklahoma and was a Leadership Consultant full time from 2009 to 2013. In addition to his Bachelors in Communication, Nick holds a Masters from Southwestern Theological Seminary. He continues to serve BYX working with the SMU chapter and on the Board of Directors. Nick works in public relations as a Director for Pinkston. He and his wife, Katie live in the Washington DC area and attend McLean Bible Church in Arlington.
John Michael is an Argyle, Texas native and graduate of the University of North Texas. During college, he served the Theta chapter of BYX as Vice President, Social Chair, Greek Relations Chair and Cell Group Leader.
John Michael is currently the Social Media and Digital Content Manager of First United Bank. Based out of the company's headquarters in Oklahoma, he manages the brand's social media presence, creates video content for all levels of the organization, and assists the Chief Culture Officer in advancing the brand's promise: to inspire and empower others to Spend Life Wisely.
John Michael is passionate about helping others live with intention and how God uses men and women in business to accomplish His redemptive work in the world (a passion God sparked in John Michael at the 2015 COR Leadership Retreat).
Jonathan is a native of Shreveport, LA. He graduated from Louisiana State University in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Finance. He is an alumnus of the Psi Chapter at LSU, where he served in roles such as Treasurer and Cell Group Leader. Jonathan now lives in Dallas, TX and works as an Analyst at GuideCap Partners, a middle-market investment bank. He is a member of Northway Church in Dallas and is part of the reigning championship runner-up team of Northway’s annual Dodgeball Tournament. He serves as a volunteer for Readers 2 Leaders, helping to develop and grow the reading skills of underserved children in Dallas. In 2017, Jonathan earned his Private Pilot’s License, and in his free time, he enjoys playing Settlers of Catan and trying to convince himself that Dallas is a bike commuter city.
Chris Godfrey is a Metro-Atlanta native and a graduate of the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. He was president of his fraternity, BYX, after being Social Chair. Chris is passionate about bettering his community and with his extensive knowledge about the Atlanta region, he partners with his clients on their real estate strategy.
Following graduation, Chris worked for his fraternity, Beta Upsilon Chi – Brothers Under Christ, to help grow leaders at college campuses across the country. He knows the importance of faith, family, friendships, fitness and work. Godfrey moved back to Atlanta and worked for a “Best Places to Work” staffing firm to help companies with their talent, costs and retention. Through his position there, he partnered with local and international firms to create work-force solutions.
Chris takes his past experience and partners with his clients on their real estate to create solutions based on companies’ biggest assets, their people. He takes an active role in the community and is very involved at his church, Buckhead Church. He serves as president of the Buckhead Business Association, is on the steering committee for ATLeaders through the Metro Atlanta Chamber, the Committee for a Better Atlanta and an ambassador for Grady Hospital.
As Atlanta continues to position itself as a city for Technology, FinTech, Bioscience and much more, Chris is at the forefront of helping organizations with their real estate strategies.
Travis is an architect with experience in many types of projects, ranging from homes to hospitals. He is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, where he served the Alpha Chapter in many different capacities including Assistant Pledge Captain and Advisory Board member. Since his graduation, he has been involved in the development of the Alumni Foundation as a founding alumni board member, while also contributing to the Texas BYX Alumni Chapter. He and his wife live in Houston, Texas, where they enjoy time with their families and participating in recreational sports together.
Matt Struble is an attorney at Vinson & Elkins LLP in Dallas, TX where he practices corporate bankruptcy and restructuring law. He and his wife Bethany are members at Watermark Community Church in Dallas. Matt is a 2013 graduate of Texas A&M (Whoop!), where he served as president of the BYX Gamma chapter before heading to the East Coast for law school at the University of Pennsylvania. At Penn, Matt served as chair of the Christian Legal Society, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Business Law, quarterback of the law school intramural football champions, and winner of a light-heavyweight boxing bout against a Wharton business school student.
Zach Van Meter began his BYX involvement in the Kappa chapter at the University of Oklahoma In 2010. Once graduated in 2014, he worked as a leadership consultant for several chapters on the BYX National Staff for two years and now works as a software consultant for ServeVita, based out of Dallas TX.
He just recently moved back home to Edmond, Oklahoma with his wife, Mary, and 10 month old daughter June.
Luke is a Senior Consultant in the Deloitte Greenhouse Corporate Innovation Lab where he leads clients to breakthroughs, develops business strategies and visions, and helps improve team alignment. Prior to graduating Texas A&M in 2015 (Whoop!) with a degree in Finance, Luke served multiple roles in BYX and across campus. Notable roles include: Secretary and Events Chair in BYX, Founder of The Mugdown (A&M’s satirical newspaper), and member of Business Fellows.
Currently, Luke and his wife, Amanda, live in Dallas where they are serving members of City Church International. He is honored to serve BYX nationally and continue to support the A&M BYX Alumni Chapter.
